Eunice began her service to Cohoes as a nurse at Cohoes Memorial Hospital. She continued her service as Director of Human Services for the city of Cohoes.Eunice was also instrumental in the founding of Residential Opportunities Inc., one of the most successful programs for development disabled adults in New York State.
Eunice continues as a member of their board of directors. Eunice is currently serving Cohoes in a different way as proprietor of Smith's Restaurant. 
A native Cohoesier, Eunice was elected to the Hall for her outstanding service to Cohoes and its residents.
